Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy explains what information Future & Facts (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit futureandfacts.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to a minimum.
Who is responsible
Future & Facts is run by Ravi Franklin. For any privacy question or request, email connect@ravifranklin.com.
Information we collect
When you read the site
You can read Future & Facts without creating an account or giving us any personal information. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information in server logs when you visit — for example your IP address, browser type, the page you requested and the time of the request. This is used to keep the website running, secure and fast (for example, to block attacks and fix errors). These logs are kept for a limited time by our hosting provider.
When you email us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use it only to reply to you and to handle your request (for example, a correction). We keep emails only as long as we need them.
What we do NOT do (at the moment)
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
- We do not show advertising.
- We do not run a newsletter yet.
- Comments are switched off, so we do not collect comments.
- Our share buttons are plain links: no information is sent to social networks unless you click one.
- Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so loading them does not send your information to a third party.
Before we add analytics, advertising (such as Google AdSense) or a newsletter, we will update this policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
Cookies and similar technologies
Ordinary visitors do not receive tracking cookies from us. If you use the light/dark mode switch, your choice is saved in your own browser (not on our servers) so the site remembers it. Logged-in site administrators receive the standard WordPress login cookies. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
Content from other websites
Articles may link to other websites, and some may include embedded content (for example a video). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the other website, which may collect data about you under its own privacy policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites.
Service providers
Our website is hosted by Hostinger, which stores our website files and server logs and delivers the site through its network. Your information may therefore be processed on servers outside your country. We only use providers that protect data appropriately.
How we protect information
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), is kept up to date with security updates, and administrator access is protected with strong passwords and secure keys.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to object to how we use it (for example under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, or the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation). To make a request, email connect@ravifranklin.com. We will respond as soon as we can and within the time the law requires.
Children
Future & Facts is a general news and education website. It is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed.
